The Rifle Sight-In Course is a 3-hour training course designed to instruct basic knowledge, skills to properly attain a zero a carbine semi-auto rifle or bolt action rifle.

This course is designed for the person with little to no knowledge of the rifle shooting platform, and of their optics. This course is also beneficial for the shooter having trouble keeping consistent shots on target by improving fundamentals.

Objective:
The Rifle Sight-In is to provide students with a practical understanding of safe handling, rifle operation, optics and basic marksmanship in obtaining a final 100 yard zero. Shooting will be at 25, 50 and 100 yards.

Only one rifle is allowed in this course 

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:

• AR-15/M4 rifle with open sights, red dot, holographic sights or scope
• Bolt action rifle with a mounted rifle scope
• Red dot, holographic sight or scope manual to help with proper adjustments
• Sling (optional)
• 2 magazines (20 round magazine best for working off a bench position)
• 60-80 of rounds factory ammunition
• Cleaning kit for your rifle.
• Eye protection
• Ear protection (electronic hearing protection is highly recommended)
• Clothing appropriate for outdoor range, baseball cap, pants, closed-toe shoes
• Water and snacks
