First Pistol Introduction: $69.95 (2HR)
This class is designed for a person that does not own a handgun and desires training and direction on selecting and purchasing their first semi-auto pistol. In this class training pistols and ammunition are provided.
The two-hour First Pistol is Instructor led from beginning to end. The time includes lecture, and range practice learning firearm safety, and the proper operation of a semi-automatic pistol. Under Instructor supervision students will live fire 4 different semi-automatic pistols practicing the learned skills. As this course is only an introduction you fire a limited number of shots with
each pistol.

If you already own a pistol look into our pistol 1 course or a private instruction This course is designed to give you the confidence and knowledge you need to PURCHASE your first pistol.
Pistols provided are:
- Glock 44, .22LR caliber
- Smith & Wesson Shield EZ, .380 caliber
- Sig Sauer 365, 9mm caliber
- Smith & Wesson Shield EZ, 9mm caliber
Lessons covered:
- Introduction to firearms safety, pistol parts, and operation (emphasis on the semi-automatic pistol)
- Ammunition (Includes identification, and cartridge malfunctions)
- Introduction to the basics of pistol shooting (stance, grip, sight alignment and trigger control)
- Pistol shooting from the two-handed standing position
Required Equipment:
- Eye protection
- Hearing protection (electronic recommended)
- Range clothing appropriate for outdoor range and weather conditions
- Athletic shoes, no open toe shoes or sandals
- Water and snacks
