Retail Store
In addition to being a fully stocked gun store w/ over 700 guns in stock, A Place To Shoot also sells scopes, magazines, firearms, & self-defense accessories.
Pistol Range
Our pistol range is a gravity fed system w/ 23 bays. Each bay is equipped w/ steel dividers. There is no time limit, or membership required. We have a full-time RSO every day of the week & 3 on the weekends. We pride ourselves on being the safest range in town. Only our range safety officers go down range in our facility.
Firearms Training & LTC Courses
A Place to Shoot instructors are TX DPS License to Carry Instructors. They are also National Rifle Association (NRA) Certified Firearms Instructors and/or NRA Range Safety Officers. All instructors are current/former law enforcement and/or military & bring tremendous knowledge & experience to the classroom & to the range. In addition to LTC, other available courses include: Intro to Handgun (2hrs), Private Lesson, & Hunter's Education.

100 & 200 Yard Rifle Combo Range
We also offer 100 & 200 yard combo lanes where you can sit at the same place & shoot both. There are 12 lanes overall. Each of these lanes will have a shooting sled & if you need a high power spotting scope they will be lent out upon request. The targets are also already setup down range & will be changed out as needed by the RSO.

100 Yard Rifle Range
Of our 72 rifle lanes, 28 of them are 100 yard rifle ranges. Each rifle range also has a spotting scope & shooting sled. Each lane has a divider between.
25 & 100 Yard Rifle Combo Range
Of our 72 lanes, 21 of those are 25 & 100 yard combo lanes. On those ranges, you can sit at one spot & shoot at both 25 & 100 yards w/out having to move lanes. Each of these lanes will have a shooting sled. A high-power shooting scope will be lent out upon request. Targets will already setup down range & changed out as needed by the RSO.
50 Yard Rifle Range
10 of our rifle lanes are dedicated at 50 yards. Targets will be set up & an RSO will change targets as needed. Each lane has a spotting scope & shooting sled w/ sandbags.
Archery Range
Our archery field has foam target stands at 20, 30, 40, & 50 yards. While our policy is absolutely no broad heads, you may bring your own target to shoot them. Covered shooting positions with arrow holders & bow hangers.
Shotgun Range
Our shotgun fields offer skeet, trap, country doubles, & for those looking for a challenge, crazy quail! We are a "first come first serve" facility so no reservation needed. When you check-in at store you will be given a remote & when you are done you come back & pay for the clays. We do ask that while on fields that you are actively shooting to give others a chance to shoot, as well.
